Hi All Parents, Coaches, Team Managers and Players…
Welcome to the Winter 2025 Season! We hope you have had a great start to the season and for those who have been lucky enough to snap up a training spot on the new courts at Vermont Secondary, we hope you are loving it! We are hoping to add a new court surface at Vermont Primary to the list of premium training courts we have this year as well!
It is great to see the enjoyment the kids have playing basketball in our area… again another big season ahead with 156 Vermont Vultures teams signed up to play competition basketball on Monday, Friday and Saturday. A big thank you too all the committee and volunteers who fit together all of the moving pieces to get the kids out on court and playing sport with their friends. A truly amazing effort again!!

As a group, can we all please ensure all of the kids are wearing the correct uniform on game day. There are rules set by the association that clubs must follow, for every incorrect item a team will be penalized 2 points. All players must wear the club’s reversible singlet and matching shorts. If they do not it will cost your team 2 points per infringement.
No t-shirt or long sleeve top is to be under the reversible singlet. if needed for injury or alike reason a compression garment can be worn in black or nude. There is to be no leggings or tights to be worn under the shorts, if needed shin guards can be worn. No double numbers in a team, members are not to alter number on singlet with markers or tape.
If you have any further questions or your team needs a new or loan uniform, please contact our uniform coordinator – uniforms@vermontvultures.org.au

Behaviour and Conduct while playing Competitive Basketball
Nunawading Basketball are tightening their rules each season for behavior of players, spectators, coaches and other team officials. The Vermont Vultures want to lead the association in behavioural standards and as such, it is important we show respect to all other parties, our team and our coaches when playing sport. Please see more information below on the rules and regulations around our behavioural expectations (and also the strict penalties that may apply!).
