Walkover/Forfeit guide – via TeamPay

Sometimes things don’t go to plan, and your team don’t have enough players to play. If that happens, here’s how to handle a walkover or forfeit with TeamPay.

Step 1: Check with Your Team

Before deciding on a forfeit, make sure you’ve tried every option to find fill-in players following the fill-in rules. If a forfeit is unavoidable, be aware your team will be out of pocket around $70.

Step 2: Let the Club Know

Send an email to clubadmin@vermontvultures.org.au. We’ll reply with your TEAM CODE, which you’ll need for TeamPay.

Step 3: Use TeamPay

  • Sign up with your TEAM CODE (see Sign Up Guide – here).
  • Submit the forfeit online (see Submit Forfeit Guide – here) and pay the fee.
  • Once submitted, referees and the opposition team are notified, so please make sure the details are correct.

Step 4: Request a Refund

If you’ve already paid for the game, you can apply for an $84 refund. Email treasurer@vermontvultures.org.au with your details.

Step 5: Need Help?

If you’re unsure about any part of the process, reach out to clubadmin@vermontvultures.org.au. We’re here to help.
