Dear Vermont Vultures Members,
This is a notice to all club members that the Vermont Vultures Committee for 2025 has been selected at the November AGM. One notable omission off the committee nominations for 2025 was Ashley Brown who has been a volunteer working hard with the Vermont Vultures for 9 years in many roles from general committee, to the exec positions of Treasurer, and President. Ashley, we thank you greatly for your valuable contributions!
Moving into 2025, we welcome 2 additions for the coming year in Victor Li as Treasurer and Satish Devarakonda in the Basketball Operations role. Victor is a certified coach with the Vultures, and has his son Nathan playing in the u13’s with us as well as excelling in the U14 Spectres!
Satish also has his son Aarav playing for the Vultures in the same U13 team! I first crossed paths with Satish at Fast 7’s cricket on a Sunday morning where both of our sons played together. He loved his cricket back then, always encouraging the team, and it is great to see him exactly the same when out on the basketball court and now volunteering within the Vultures community. We are all really pumped to have both Victor and Satish join us for the 2025 season!
A big thank-you from myself, but also the Vultures community, to the rest of the committee members who signed on again for 2025. This club needs selfless volunteers like you to keep community sports running!

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are still looking to fill 2 positions for the committee moving forward being the Secretary and Communications Coordinator. If you think you could volunteer some time to assist this great club, please reach out to me using president@vermontvultures.org.au to go over these roles and how you could help lead the Vultures into 2025!
I look forward to hearing from you! Go Vultures!
Regards,
Matt Cavell
