We are excited to announce our annual club awards which kick off this year at Vultures Day. The annual club awards aim to recognise and reward those in our wonderful community for their achievements. Open to players and those off the court that work tirelessly to assist in our clubs success! The awards will consist of:
Jason Smith Junior Male Player of the Year Award
The Jason Smith Junior Male Player of the Year award seeks to recognise Vultures who are most likely to go onto play senior basketball at the elite level. The award is given to those who have achieved outstanding results in all aspects of basketball (Representative and/or state) over the course of their Junior career, with a particular focus on the previous 12 months.
Carly Wilson Junior Female Player of the Year Award
The Carly Wilson Junior Female Player of the Year award seeks to recognise Vultures who are most likely to go onto play senior basketball at the elite level. The award is given to those who have achieved outstanding results in all aspects of basketball (Representative and/or state) over the course of their Junior career, with a particular focus on the previous 12 months.
Andrew Halsall Coaches Award
The Andrew Halsall Award seeks to recognise those who have gone above and beyond in the field of coaching at Vermont Vultures. This includes (but is not limited to) those who have coached multiple teams, those who provide additional coaching junior players, or those who members feel have brought the right ethics to coaching of junior teams.
Jephcott Junior Coach Award
Seeks to recognise our Junior coaches and their contribution to our players and club.
Jack Nicey Award
Spirit of the Vultures, this award seeks to recognise those within the Vultures community that have gone above and beyond to help enhance the club.
